Wow!!! How fast is this term going....This week we have had our class and individual photos taken. We have been working hard with all our learning. At maths time we have been learning about fractions... Ask your children ..What is half of 6 ? 8? or get them to share 12 things between two people.
On Friday this week we did list writing for the first time. We write as many words as we can in 10 minutes. Some of us wrote 18 today. Next week when we do it again, we want to beat our old score. I wonder how many we will be able to write by the end of the term... and the end of the year.
PRIDE is important to us at Douglas Park. This week we have been learning to be peaceful while we work on Independent activities. This coming week we will be working on using respectful language both at school and at home.
Please order your calendar...there will be no late orders taken so don't miss out!!! They make great presents for Grandmas at Christmas time.
