We look forward to the last few days of Room 8 2011.
We have had a great time and I look forward to watching all these guys continue to learn in 2012 with Nerina in Room 7.
Please continue to read with your child during the holidays and to work on their basic facts.

Last PRIDE winner 2011 is Quinn.

Quinn has done a great job in our last full week of school.

PRIDE day out winner Term 4..... Ashar.

Each class chooses a PRIDE day out winner. These are children who have shown PRIDE all term. They haven't lost any golden time or had any yellow forms. This term Room 8 have chosen Ashar.

Week7. 8 days to go!!!

8 more days in Room 8 2011. It is a busy time of year and we will continue to work hard to ensure we are continuing to show PRIDE in Room 8. Please help at home by keeping the routines consistent.
Please send back your raffle ticket money and card. We will draw the raffle this week.
The final celebration time is on Wednesday December 14th at 10.00a.m. It would be great to see lots of you there to celebrate another great year in the life of DPS.

Week 6 PRIDE winner is Olly.

Olly has been working very hard and focussing on his learning. Keep up the good work Olly.

2 and a half weeks to go!!!

How quickly the time is going by.
We will continue to work hard in the next 2 weeks. Keep up the reading and basic facts at home...this practice is really important. We are also working extra hard on children taking responsibility for themselves especially around making good behaviour choices.It can be easy to say ...but they were doing it....students need to keep asking themselves those 2 key questions....
Am I in the right place? Am I doing the right thing?
In week 7 the students will bring home a note with their class and teacher for next year. Look out for this note.
Have you sold your raffle tickets yet? Please bring them back with the money to the office.
